Taking one step at a time, these are words that are clearly not written in the thieves’ books as they broke into a shoe shop.
A number of shoe boxes were lying on the pavement, with no thieves in sight.

That was the scene at Tekkie Town.
A business burglary occurred on Sunday, April 22.
According to a police report the burglary happened around 05:00. Various pairs of shoes in different sizes estimated at R200 000 were stolen.
The door was wide open with the chain used to lock the door on the ground.
Theo Luus and Rudi Botha from the Model Park Neighbourhood Watch Group were two of the first responders on scene.
No one saw who the burglars were, what car they were driving and which direction the vehicle took.
At this stage, information of the burglary is very sketchy and quite minimal.
Tekkie Town said they could not comment on the matter at this moment as it is still too early to do so because investigations are still on-going.
Another business that had a set back was a restaurant situated at Kiepersol Street in Tabset Park.

The business robbery happened on Friday, April 20 around 19:40 when two armed suspects came into the shop.
It is alleged that the men came inside the store and apparently threatened employees with a firearm.
The suspects also ordered customers to lie on the floor. The restaurant was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money.
