The team hit the streets once again ensuring that the city remains crime free.

The South African Community Crime Watch Witbank (SACCW) together with AfriForum Witbank and all neighbourhood watch groups had a patrol.

This happened on Friday evening, April 20 from 20:00 until 02:30 where they responded to every call that came in.

The patrol took place due to the high crime statistics of the previous weekend (April 13).

The aim was to prevent crime and the members that were present sure did make a difference.

“Thank you to all responders from SACCW Witbank, AfriForum Witbank and all neighbourhood watch groups who joined in on Friday evening. Thank you to these members who offer their personal free time to ensure public safety in Witbank,” appreciated Maureen Scheepers, SACCW Witbank operations co-ordinator.
