Passenger dies in collision on Zaaihoek Road

The incident occurred on Sunday, April 29 at 07:10 a police officer on duty at Witbank Police Station received a call about an accident on the Zaaihoek Road.
When she arrived on scene she found that a white Mitsibushi Colt bakkie had collided into the back of a truck.
Emergencies services responded to the scene, where the injured were seen too.

The driver of the bakkie sustained serious injuries, he was stabilized on scene and transported to a nearby hospital, the passenger in the bakkie was declared dead on scene.

He stopped the truck immediately and when he went to check what was happening he found that the bakkie had drove into the back of the truck.
