BREAKING NEWS – Mother and infant die inside bedroom

On a very cold evening, the lifeless bodies of a mother and her infant were discovered inside their room.

Monday, June 4 was a very cold day in eMalahleni when a woman and her infant stayed inside their flat at Presidents Place.

A charcoal fire was started inside the bedroom for them to keep warm. Later that evening when the husband returned home from work, there was no answer on the bedroom door when he knocked.

He forcefully opened the door and found his wife and daughter lying on the bed.

Emergency services were called and both the woman and infant were declared dead.
