Six suspects were arrested for stock theft in Ga-Nala.

This arrest is the result of the swift reaction of Kriel SAPS and the Stock Theft Unit of Bethal after information was received about stock that was stolen and kept in bushes nearby Thubelihle in Ga-Nala.

On Thursday, May 24 the long arm of the law arrested the boys aged between 16 and 17 years. They are all from Lesotho.

They appeared in Kriel Magistrate Court on Monday, May 28 and bail was denied. They will remain in custody until June 5 for a formal bail application.

The stock was found, unfortunately of the 10 cows stolen, two was dead, two alive and six alive but badly injured. The farmer, who the cows belongs to decided to kill the six cows that were badly injured.
