Phola SAPS visit Sukumani Primary School

The campaign was a great success and the learners were all very happy and motivated.

The Child Protection Week Campaign was held to sensitize learners about crime, their safety and protection.

On Friday, June 1, the Phola SAPS Youth Desk Committee led by Station Commander Lt Colonel NP Matlala visited Sukumani Primary School.

The station commander emphasized the issue of protection and safety for all children within the community and the society as a whole, to abstain from dangerous games and to take into account Children’s Rights in terms of Section 28 in the Bill of Rights.

Youth Desk Chairperson, Mr Tom Mtsweni also highlighted that the Youth Desk will ensure the protection and safety of all children and that they will always be available and ready to offer services.

The campaign was a great success and the learners were all very happy and motivated.
