Our Own Lucy B on the Road to Stardom

Lucy Badenhorst dreams of being a model, and started working towards this goal when she was just 16-years old. She is not your typical size 0 runway model – but this suits her just fine as her goal is to prove that everyone is beautiful, regardless of their height or weight.

18-year old Lucy is currently a pupil at Impak Prestige Learning Centre in Witbank.

In 2017 she took first place in the Miss Blue Moon (now known as Miss & Mrs Perfect Diamond) beauty pageant in her age category – this was a Facebook-based pageant in which a panel of three judges ranked young boys and girls according to their beauty in different categories.

She also the magazine model for a tattoo studio in Klipfontein.

Lucy also auditioned for the ANUA Rising Stars Talent Showcase at the end of last year, and was invited to perform in Pretoria following her audition on December 2. She won a “golden ticket” for this performance which invites her to perform at their upcoming 4-day GoTalent Convention and Competition (iPoP SA) which will take place in August.
