Christmas presents at the hospital

Christmas is a time for joy but when you’re sitting at a hospital as a patient it’s difficult to feel this joy.

This can be very true especially for children but fortunately for the patients in the General Hospital Paediatrics ward a surprise was in store for them.

They were surprised by the Silingile family who handed gifts to the children in the ward on December 22.

The initiative was brought forward by nine year-old Miss Inspire 2019 finalist Likhona Silingile daughter of the family, who with the assistance of her supportive family organised a gift exchange for the young children to bring a smile to their faces during the festive season.
