Court order at Uthingo Park
The applicant’s (who is EHC) possession to the property described as Uthingo Park
Following the unlawful and criminal attempt to destroy Emalahleni Housing Company’s (EHC) social housing complex, Uthingo Park in Tasbet Park X6 on Wednesday, January 23 and on Tuesday February 5, an urgent interdict was heard in the Middelburg High Court and the judge ordered the following as an interim interdict:
The applicant’s (who is EHC) possession to the property described as Uthingo Park (situated at 13 Gousblom Street, Tasbet Park, eMalahleni) is restored.

The 1st to 43rd respondents are interdicted and restrained from interfering with the applicant’s access to the property described as Uthingo Park (“the premises”); destroying, damaging or defacing any of the premises managed by the applicant; participating in or inciting others to participate in any unlawful conduct at any of the premises managed by the applicant; and inciting violence and/or inciting others to support in violent and/or unlawful conduct.
The above interim order shall operate as an interim interdict pending the finalisation of this application.
The final matter has been set down for final arguments on Tuesday, June 18 this year.
