Skhumbuza ‘Nduna Kamavovo’ Zikalala inspired to write a song

Nduna auditioned for Idols season 12 in 2016 at Carnival City

His stage name is Nduna Kamovovo and his real name is Skhumbuza Zikalala.

He is originally from Machadodorp and a musician who was inspired by the death of young Gabsile Shabane and the reported abuse of people living with albinism, to write a song.

He said it all started when he received a message from his Facebook account to write a song dedicated to all the people with albinism; it was received from eMalahleni.

“The song was dedicated to all the brothers and sisters living with albinism. The song titled ‘Umbulalelani?’ got airplayed on different radio stations and I am planning to shoot a music video in the future. This is my contribution to spread the gospel about the plight of the people living with albinism,” explained Nduna.

Previously he belonged to a group called 20101 but after a couple of years they decided to go their separate ways and Nduna decided to go solo.

He says he has gained a lot of experience in his musical journey and is ready to explore more in music.

“I have released three songs and it’s available in digital stores iTunes Google Play, Amazon, You Tube and others. I will also release my album this year,” added Nduna.
