The Congo forms a conga line

This was no ordinary party however, as these extraordinary individuals

On February 3, the Congolese Alliance for the Development of the Congo and members of the Committee of Support of the UDPS in Mpumalanga joined together for a celebration in Woltemade Street in Die Heuwel.

This was no ordinary party however, as these extraordinary individuals had gathered for one sole purpose; to commemorate the inauguration of President-elect Felix Antoine Tshilombo Tshisekedi and the victory of democracy which he represents within the Congo.

Prayers were said for President-elect Felix Antoine Tshilombo Tshisekedi’s good health, serenity and wisdom, as well as for the long term development of the Congo itself.

During his speech, Dally Tshibangu said, “It is certainly true that the Republic of the Congo, our country, cannot be rebuilt by one person but with the support and contribution of all Congolese people, we can achieve this goal.”

Dally, addressing potential investors, also stated, “We want to inform all our partners, and friends of the Congo, that the time has come to invest in the Congo. With its biodiversity, its incredibly arable land, its mineral wealth, its opulent cultural heritage and its bustling population – the Congo truly offers a development asset capable of supporting not only its own population’s needs, but also those of Africa and the rest of the world.”

“This renewed hope is like a burning furnace that can only be alimented by our contributions as patriots,” Dally passionately announced to the party-goers.
