Voortrekker Street witnessed another murder
One of the men passed away at the scene and the other was seriously injured
Two more men were shot in Voortrekker Street near Omar’s Motor Den, just a week after a guard from CSC Tactical was shot and killed and another from Secure Access was seriously injured.
Secure Access management confirmed on Tuesday, January 5 that their guard Mr Godfrey Masangu was doing much better.
“He was discharged from ICU in Millpark to a normal ward this past weekend; he will also be able to go home later this week.”
On Saturday, February 2 at about 23:00 two men got shot in Voortrekker Street.
One of the men passed away at the scene and the other was seriously injured.
Allegedly the two men were driving in a white Polo Vivo when the incident occurred.
The injured passenger was taken to Witbank General Hospital.
The deceased was shot four times, as upon inspection it was found that he had four gunshot wounds on his body. He was declared dead on the scene.
Police are investigating this case and urge those who have any information regarding these murders to come forward.
