A strike flared up in Phola.

According to police spokesperson in Phola, the community took to the police station to voice their concerns.

They allege that they are striking because the police station does not qualify to be a police station.

They are also unhappy with a recent murder case that was opened earlier this month in Ogies.

The Phola-community allege that they can not get all the services that they should receive at the station and that there is a drastic shortage of resources, police officers and offices and the community are forced to drive to Ogies SAPS for services they should be receiving at Phola SAPS.

POPS is currently on the way but the situation is under control.
