Capt Mamarega and SACCW taking on the streets again

Pamphlets handed out with emergency contact numbers and SAPS safety tips

It is no secret that Witbank Police work hand-in-hand with crime fighting entity, the SACCW (South African Community Crime Watch).

They have also become a household name on the residents of eMalahleni’s mouths.

On Thursday, February 14 Capt Tshidi Mamarega (sector 2 Manager) and Maureen Scheepers (operations co-ordinator of SACCW) painted the town red and visited businesses in sector 2.

Capt Mamarega introduced herself to the management, handed out pamphlets with emergency contact numbers and SAPS safety tips to assist the community.

“Thank you to all the business owners and managers that welcomed the campaign and active policing,” concluded Scheepers.
