Spinning event held for kids on Saturday

This will take place on April 6 at the Ben Fleur Boulevard and everyone is welcome to join in the fun

The Rizpah Ministries are inviting the community of eMalahleni to plough back into the community and spin for the vulnerable children.

This will take place on April 6 at the Ben Fleur Boulevard and everyone is welcome to join in the fun.

Anet Jansen said that teams can enter, individuals or anyone who wish to make a difference.

There will be spinning bikes in front of Spur and the idea is to see how many kilometres can be ‘spinned’ for the vulnerable kids of our city.

Here are, from left: (back) Ricky Peixoto, Juan Gouws, Jan Spamers and Jan Snoer; (front) Madelaine Snoer, Philna Gouws, Betsie van Zyl and Jaco Spies.

The event will take place from 09:00 – 16:00.

Anet said that it is advised to book spots before the event and the costs will be R50 for 10 minutes or R300 per hour.

She added that the community is welcome to come and watch and the person who can guess the total amount of kilometres will win a special prize.
