Rugby hero visits HGH

Warren Whiteley took time out of his busy schedule to pay Hoërskool Generaal Hertzog a visit.

The school was the winner of a campaign that was run on social media and social citizens could vote online for the school that they thought deserved a show down with Warren Whiteley.

HGH received the most votes out of a number of schools nationwide and got a visit on Wednesday July 10.

The school opted for a motivational session with Warren rather than a physical competition.

He was interviewed on the stage in front of the entire school in a talk show type of question and answer session.

The hosts of the HGH talk show style interview were Mr Gerhardt van Rooyen, Charl Fouché and Miss Henriette Badenhorst.

Learners were also allowed to ask Warren some questions and they all had an opportunity afterwards to take photos with him and have him sign various items.
