WATCH: Which speed limit should we follow now?

As you drive on Voortrekker Street, also known as Old Middelburg road, you will notice that there are construction works taking place as you come from Middelburg direction.

A lane is closed to accommodate the construction on the side of the road.

The actual speed limit on that zone is 70 km per hour.

The construction workers have put up yellow speed limit signs depicting that driver’s can drive at 100 km per hour, 60 km per hour or 80 km per hour.

Drivers are advised to follow the actual prescribed speed, which is 70 km per hour.
