Koekemoer appeared in court again on Wednesday

This left Darren with severe head injuries and he spent several weeks in ICU

The accused in an attempted murder case, Mr Johan Koekemoer once again appeared in the Witbank Magistrate’s Court.

His appearance was on Wednesday, March 4.

It is alleged that Koekemoer beat a matric pupil from HTS, Darren Joseph over the head with a shock in November last year.

This left Darren with severe head injuries and he spent several weeks in ICU.

Since Darren left the hospital he has been receiving multiple treatments to help with his recovery.

On Wednesday, it was decided that Koekemoer remains in custody until May 25 awaiting trial.
