You can pay your municipal account online

The municipality has to protect both the staff and customers from COVID-19 in an effort to flatten the infection curve

In line with the pronouncement made by the President of the Republic of South Africa on March 23 announcing a national lockdown to curb the spread of COVID-19 infections, the municipality has instituted additional initiatives to promote the social distancing and encourage the community to minimize movement.

The municipality has to protect both the staff and customers from COVID-19 in an effort to flatten the infection curve.

To minimize the queues and lessen the number of visitors to municipal buildings, customers are encouraged to download the EasyPay App on their smartphone for convenience in paying the municipal services.

Residents are also reminded that payment for accounts can also be done through the EasyPay facilities at the following outlets: Checkers, Pick n Pay, Woolworths, Shoprite, Ackermans, PEP, Spar,Prepaid 24, Game, South African Post Office and the following banks: FNB, Nedbank, ABSA, CAPITEC and Standard Bank.

Customers using electronic funds TRANSFER (EFT) or online payment must reflect their eight digits account numbers as reference.

As of March 27 until April 16, all municipal pay points will be operational between 08:00 to 14:00 from Monday to Friday.
