WITBANK NEWS last week reported about the protest at Pick n Pay Klipfontein led by the EFF.
According to the EFF they led the protest and was joined by members of the ANC Youth League.
The protests came after allegations were made that two women were held in a cold room after allegedly shoplifting at the store.
One of the women since passed away.
Pick n Pay in a press release has strongly refuted false allegations that it had detained two suspected shoplifters overnight in a cold storage facility.
