Police are searching for a group of suspects who bombed an automatic teller machine (ATM) at a filling station at Ferrobank near Kwaguqa.
“This incident happened during the early hours of this morning when a group of about 10 suspects attacked the filling station and held the guards and workers hostage,” said police spokesperson Capt Elizabeth Mkaudi.
According to information, some guarded the security guards and workers at gunpoint while others bombed the ATM. No arrest has been made so far and anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects is requested to contact Colonel One Thobejane at 082 372 2195.
