Third time lucky was not meant for a thief who thought he could get away a third time after another break in at a house in Reyno Ridge.

Third time lucky was not meant for a thief who thought he could get away a third time after another break in at a house in Reyno Ridge.

Ms Madelon Troskie from the Community Policing Forum (CPF) said a call came through at 05:37 on Sunday, December 20 alerting Sector 3 Sub 6 of a burglar at the same address a third time in a row.

“CPF responders were dispatch to the address and the suspect was identified on camera jumping the wall with the stolen goods,” Troskie said.

She said the responders caught the man when he entered Spring Valley with his loot. With the assistance of the CPF chairperson of Spring Valley all the stolen goods were recovered.

SAPS took the man to the police station and it was discovered that he is already an old hand in house break-ins.
