Tow truck driver hit on the head with a brick

As Henning was about to do so the driver of the vehicle allegedly picked up a stone and hit him on the side of the head.

One thing led to another at an accident scene where a tow truck driver was hit with a brick against his head.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 2 at approximately 13:20.

The red Opel Astra that was involved in a an accident.

It is still unclear how the driver of a red Opel Astra allegedly lost control of his vehicle, drove up onto the sidewalk and hit two pedestrians who were on their way to go shopping.
A tow truck driver Mr Henk Henning was one of the first people on the accident scene.

Emergency services were called to attend to the pedestrians who were knocked down.

Paramedics from Legacy Emergency Specialists arrived at the scene and took the two pedestrians to Witbank Provincial Hospital.
The paramedic allegedly asked Henning to just get the details of the vehicle for the patient form they need to fill out.

As Henning was about to do so the driver of the vehicle allegedly picked up a stone and hit him on the side of the head.
Henning was left bleeding as the driver went and stood on the opposite side of the road.

Once again emergency services were called to the scene to attend to Henning.

“It happened so quickly from the time he grabbed the brick to the time he hit me on my head,” said Henning.
Henning and the driver of the vehicle went to Witbank Police Station to open up a case.
