MEC presents goodies at Bonginsimbi Secondary School

Mpumalanga MEC for Culture, Sports and Recreation Ms Lindiwe Ntshalintshali said that she does not want to promise, but prefer to deliver and bearing in mind that the school still needs to be refurbished

Mpumalanga MEC for Culture, Sports and Recreation Ms Lindiwe Ntshalintshali showed her support by donating to a school in eMalahleni.

MEC Ntshalintshali on a Back to School Campaign presented soccer and netball kits plus library books to Bonginsimbi Secondary School during the opening day of schools on Monday, February 15.

She said she was doing this to show her support to her constituency of eMalahleni.

She added to say that she does not want to promise, but prefer to deliver and bearing in mind that the school still needs to be refurbished.

“We have a mandate as leaders to support education as it is the key to your future. I believe that a healthy mind bears positive results. The library books will give you more information so that you can succeed in your studies. Concentrate on your studies for a better and bright future,” said MEC Ntshalintshali.

She also pleaded with the students to take care of themselves and stay healthy under the level 3 regulations and try to assist the young ones to do the same.

She told them that life was more important than anything else and as the government they would make sure that they stay safe.

She also urged the students to aim high in life irrespective of their background as they are the future leaders of the country.

The school thanked the MEC for the goodies and promised that they will produce good results.
