Man who shoots friend expected in court tomorrow

The suspect handed himself over to police as well as the firearm believed to have been used in the murder which has been booked in as an exhibit.

A 31-year-old man is expected to appear before the Witbank Magistrate’s Court tomorrow after he allegedly shot his friend who later died at the hospital.

The shooting happened on Saturday, February

This incident happened yesterday, Saturday, February 20 where the man and his 24-year-old friend attended a funeral at Clewer.

It was reported that after the funeral, the friends had an argument that led to the shooting.

The 24-year-old died in hospital.

The man handed himself over to the police this morning, February 21.
