Three people shot, one dead and one stabbed
No one has been arrested and police are investigating
Witbank Police are investigating a case of murder after a victim was shot at a tavern in Old Coronation.
According to the police report, family and friends were drinking at a tavern in Old Coronation on Saturday, February 20 at 04:00 where Zwelabo Buyela (39) was shot.
A quarrel over a girl allegedly ensued between Buyela and an unknown person leading to the fight.
While they were still sitting and enjoying their drinks the unknown suspect came back, pointed a firearm and shot Buyela.
The suspect shot two other people, Bongumusa Nkosi and Sibonelo Khumalo while Thabiso Nkosi was allegedly stabbed with a beer bottle.
The victims were rushed to hospital where Buyela was certified dead on arrival.
No one has been arrested and police are investigating.
