Suspect wanted for illegal selling of low-cost houses

Several local people were ‘ripped off’ by a man portraying to sell low-cost housing in eMalahleni.

On February 25, the Mpumalanga Hawks’ Serious Commercial Crime Investigation asked the public for assistance in locating the 46-year-old suspect, Justice Sambo from eMalahleni.

“Sambo is wanted in connection with the illegal sale of low-cost houses through a social media advert,” said Hawks spokesperson, Captain Sekgotodi Dineo Lucy.

The matter was reported to the police in October 2020 whereby a case was registered and handed over to the Hawks for investigation.

Several leads were followed to trace Sambo but led to a dead end and the court issued a warrant of arrest.
