Business robbed by two armed suspects
Business owners in eMalahleni know they need to work yet live in fear of doing so.
A shop attendant working at a shop next to the old Middelburg Road was left puzzled by a certain request, and before he knew it, his life was at risk.
The business robbery occurred earlier this week at approximately 14:00.
He was working in the store when two men entered the shop, and they told the shop attendant that they were sent to collect R500 from the shop.
The shop attendant contacted the owner of the shop and asked him if he sent the two men to collect the money, but he denied sending someone to collect the money.
When the shop attendant was about to tell the men that no one sent them to collect money, the two suspects had already pulled out various firearms.
One was armed with a knife and the other was armed with a firearm.
The suspect with the firearm held the gun towards the shop attendant’s head, the other suspect started to take tools, laptops, cell phones, money, shoes and jackets.
