Robyn awarded for 30 year membership at WAU

20th Conference and AGM hosted in eMalahleni

The Mpumalanga Woman Agriculture Union (WAU) hosted their 20th Conference and Annual General Meeting where members were also awarded for their years of service.

The meeting took place on Thursday, February 25 at Anelili’s Café where the ladies were treated to a lovely lunch after their meeting.

Debbie du Plessis handed out two special certificates to members of the Carpé Diem group that received special awards for the things they went through the year.

Debbie du Plessis was elected as the chairperson for the Carpé Diem branch again.

Debbie carried on with the formalities as she read out the names of the members of the various branches and how long they have been active members of the WAU

Evelyn Mocke received a certificate from Debbie du Plessis.

Robyn Schmidt résumé was read out to all the women who were there; Robyn has been a member of the WAU for 30 years.

Engela Thompson the WAU Mpumalanga treasurer.

“Congratulations Robyn, that is an amazing achievement, and thank you for being so passionate,” said Debbie.
