Take diabetes downhill by running or cycling
Join the Running Raspberries in the Taking Diabetes Downhill event.

The Running Raspberries running club will be hosting a challenge for all cyclists and runners to raise money for diabetes.
This event is a community challenge where the runners and cyclists all over South Africa get together to support the Taking Diabetes Downhill drive.
You can choose to either run or cycle on Saturday, April 10 and there are different distances for each discipline.
This won’t be a virtual race as you can get together in every town or community to either walk, run or cycle in a group of less than 100 people.
This is a community-run or cycle that will adhere to all Covid-19 regulations.
Routes will be worked out by the local community managers for all over South Africa where the Running Raspberries are situated already.
In the cycling: 20km, 30km, 50km and 60km. In the run or walk event, you can choose from 5km, 10km, 15km and 21km.
Race packs and pricing: Standard is R160 that includes (running/cycling buff, race number, finisher certificate) and exclusive is R350 that includes (running/cycling buff, race number, custom t-shirt and finisher certificate).
The main aim of this event is to raise funds for Diabetes South Africa to empower the association to reach out and financially support diabetics in need. The secondary aim of this event is to make the public aware of diabetes as a condition and to get the communities to help support individuals with diabetes in their community.
