Vosman Police are requesting the community to assist with positive information that may lead to the arrest of two men who allegedly raped two women between the ages of 29 and 30-years-old.
Information gathered by police on March 16 indicates that the victims were coming from an event and decided to go home in the company of a male friend.
It is reported that along the way next to the bushes, they met two guys who instructed their male friend to leave after robbing him and the women of cash as well as cell phones. It is believed that the suspects raped the victims and thereafter absconded from the scene.

The Station Commander of Vosman, Brigadier Lindani Ndlovu has voiced his concern about community members who do not adhere to the Lockdown Regulations as the victims were raped at 01:30 and the curfew time is between 00:00 and 04:00.
“What aggravates the circumstances is the fact that they were coming from an event which police believed was still in progress when the victims left. These acts are indicative that some people do not abide by the current legislative set up of the lockdown. It is therefore paramount that at all material times, the community should operate within the framework of the law to avoid unnecessary clashes with the law enforcement as well as risking the dangers of falling prey to vicious criminals,” said Brigadier Ndlovu.
Anyone who has information about the whereabouts of the suspects is requested to contact Detective Constable Conscious Mahlaba at 073 064 0219.
