Black Mojaji spreading his musical wings

He is currently busy organising a place near the Gateway Church to give exposure to up and coming artists to showcase their talents

Joe Silinda known as the Black Mojaji in music circles has produced his latest music CD.

The music composer, producer and songwriter released his latest CD titled: “The Preachers Man son’ which he started working on late last year and finishing this year.

The CD has 14 tracks on it which are spiritual, love, motivational and gospel tracks.

The CD was recorded at his studio Black Mojaji Music Production (BMMP) at the Witbank Campus under Izithethe Institution.

Black Mojaji produces music for other artists as well, the likes of Mthi Family Gospel, Lulu Khoza, Zama Mthethwa, Jane Maboki and Macho and Zitho who are into house and kwaito music.

“I’m presently busy with video shootings of albums while at the same time has recorded an album for the campus manager at the studio as well as recording for Fustus Magagula of Fantastic Four. I believe the studio is well-equipped and I’m also learning sound engineering from Brother Zack. We are inviting youngsters to come to record their music at the studio. We also invite choirs, church choirs and pastors to record their video sermons as we use the fruit loop software,” said Black Mojaji. Black Mojaji give thanks to Ms Faith Magagula of Izithethe Institution for allowing them the opportunity to work with her.

He also thanked his team of Maselo Khumalo and Sufiso Kubheka.

He is currently busy organising a place near the Gateway Church to give exposure to up and coming artists to showcase their talents.

This will also be an opportunity for people to see those artists on a stage as they will be promoting themselves.

“I’m also busy writing a story of myself which will be in the jazz album because I want to teach young people how to write, compose and write music. They can also come and register at the Izithethe Institution to learn music and write exams as the institution is recognised,” added Black Mojaji.
