Upsurge in carjacking leaves Emalahleni vulnerable

Hijackers are busy

Police are seeking assistance in finding two vehicles stolen in two separate incidents.

A Blue Volkswagen Touran was stolen on April 19. The car was stolen while the driver was moving his belongings to his new place of residence. The driver was using a client’s car and was driving with his wife.

 

A VW Touran was stolen on April 19.

The second car was reported missing on April 24. A white Ford Fiesta with the registration number: JL 07 JT GP was stolen in the early hours of the morning.

The owner had stopped on the side of the road when a white taxi stopped behind him. Two men with firearms approached him and took the car.

The car was valued at R35 000.
