Beautiful Scars Foundation founder honored

The foundation was established on June 19, 2019 by Ms Ndimande when she realised the gift of life.

The late Ms Sinenhlanhla Ndimande founder of the Beautiful Scars Foundation was honoured with a mass and a candlelight ceremony.

The foundation was established on June 19, 2019 by Ms Ndimande when she realised the gift of life that was with her since 1988 and it was named after all the scars that she acquired and experienced during her years of being a renal failure patient from birth.

“Since God has been faithful to her, she decided to create a place of hope called beautiful scars,” reads a statement from the foundation.

During the launch of the foundation two years back she thanked all the people and organisations who had supported her.

She was in partnership with Mr Kenneth Nkabinde; both had kidney failures in their lives.

They related their stories of going through renal failure and thanked everyone for the support they received.

“The vision of the foundation is to see the organisation grow worldwide for people to be served with knowledge about the disease and to ensure that the community as a whole acknowledges and knows what they can face at a daily basis without having them panic and doubt their capabilities if they come across with such. We at Beautiful Scars want to provide as much help by making sure that patients with kidney problems can go through dialysis programs. We want to strive to be the best and fly our flag with wings,” reads a statement from the foundation.
