Nompumelelo has made it to Miss Mpumalanga finalists

The 33-year-old Nompumelelo Prudence Nzilwane from Hlalanikahle, was born with a gift of modelling.

Nompumelelo is a Managing Director of Bolene Pty-Ltd a manufacturing company that produces and supplies cleaning chemicals and generic oil-based fragrances inspired by international brands named ‘Prudy Fragrances’, which is a brand that was founded by a woman for women with the aims of representing all women and their struggles.

Nompumelo is a mother, sister, friend, businesswoman, and she represents all the women who aspire to rise from their ashes.

In sharing her story with WITBANK NEWS she said this lockdown saga has cost her a lot in life.

“I entered Miss Mpumalanga beauty pageant in July 2020. Due to lockdown the crowning date was moved to October 9 this year and this is costing me a lot because I have to spend to maintain myself and the needs for this pageant, but all is well, now I just hope that this Covid thing will pass so that we can live our lives normal again,” she said

Nompumelelo further added that one of the reasons why she entered the pageants is that they cater to all women, meaning married, single, widowed, or divorced from the age of 21-39 years.

She said it gave her some courage to be part of this great initiative as she believes that it will help her to gain back her confidence and allow her to discover more about herself, as well as to find the hidden talents and gifts that she hasn’t been using.

“I’m also hoping to conquer my fear and develop more confidence to empower myself so I can be able to give back to the community and start serving the nation by giving with all of my strength. I have named this journey, ‘My Journey of Hope and Confidence’,” said Nompumelelo

She concluded by saying her message to the people especially her peers is that they must never define themselves by their past because in life we are what God says we are therefore they must believe in their dreams, and themselves.
