Are you geared up for the cold weather?

The winter’s icy claws are not letting go

It is freezing in the Cape and the cold will most probably be felt here too.

Some frost and below zero temperatures are expected in the Highveld, so get out your winter woollies and keep warm and safe.

According to the South African Weather Service flooding can be expected at formal and informal settlements, over the City of Cape Town, Witzenberg, Drakenstein, Stellenbosch, and Theewaterskloof municipalities of the Western Cape.

Snow is also predicted for southern parts of Namakwa (Northern Cape), Cederberg, Witzenberg, Breede Valley municipalities (Western Cape).

Residents in the Northern Cape, Central Karoo DM of the Western Cape as well as the central and western parts of the Eastern Cape must brace themselves for some strong interior winds and huge waves are expected between Hondeklip Bay and Cape Agulhas.
