Municipal accounts are not going to be on time

Accounts are late already as the new financial system is introduced

Consumers will have to wait patiently for their municipal accounts as there is a delay in the billing.

The delay arose from the migration of the financial system which inevitably delayed the completion of the due processes.

The municipality has switched over from the Phoenix system to the Munsoft financial system.

“The accounts are expected in due course,” said municipal spokesperson Mr Lebo Mofokeng.
