Highveld Mall FC takes victory against Emalahleni FM and Impunzi Division Glencore FC

There was a lot of action on the soccer field this weekend.

Highveld Mall FC has secured a victory against Emalahleni FM and Impunzi Division Glencore.

The match took place on, Saturday, August 28 at Lynnville Stadium.

The Top 3 Tournament was sponsored by the local clothing brand Veppes and three teams battled it out on the field at Lynnville.

The first game was played by Emalahleni FM presenters and Impunzi Division Glencore FC. Before halftime Gift Simelane scored the first goal for Impunzi Division Glencore and that made Glencore. In the second half, Emalahleni FM was granted a penalty, but unfortunately, they missed it and the penalty gave Glencore a wake-up call, hence it has put more pressure by increasing the score to 2-0 with the goal that was scored by John Sehere.

After 15 minutes Lucas Masanabo secured another goal for Glencore and that paved their way to the final.

Emalahleni FM went in for another match with Highveld Mall FC with the hopes of winning its chances to play the final with Glencore. Unfortunately, a dark cloud kept on striking and they lost the game by 2-0.

The first goal was scored by Mpo Seoea from Highveld Mall FC and the teams went to the half-time while Highveld Mall FC was in the lead.

In the second half, Brian Chanakila extended the lead for Highveld Mall FC to 2-0 by putting the ball behind the net, and that gave them a win to play the final with Glencore.

In the finals, Highveld Mall FC seemed exhausted, but they managed to battle it out with Glencore and secured a winning victory. Mpo Seoea scored the first goal for the Red Boys (Highveld Mall FC) and he came back with another goal that gave the Red Boys a final score of 2-0.

Sebenzile Dludla from Highveld Mall FC was crowned man of the match for his outstanding performance as captain of the team.
