Water outage in certain areas of eMalahleni due to maintenance
Water outage from the Point C Water Tower Reservoir will affect certain areas
Emalahleni Local Municipality has scheduled a water outage from the Point C Water Tower Reservoir in order to carry out maintenance on the bulk supply line.
The outage is planned for Tuesday, October 19, from 08:00 until 20:00. The Water Department is said to replace an isolation valve.
The abovementioned planned activity is part of the recommendations contained in the Water Conservation and Water Demand Management Strategic Document, to assist in reducing water losses.
All affected house owners and businesses are requested to make the necessary arrangements to endure this inconvenience for the period stated above.
Water trucks will be available only for hospitals, clinics and police stations.
The water supply will affect the following areas:
Reyno Ridge extensions
Ben Fleur extensions
Del Judor extensions
Corridor Hill
Highveld Mall
Portion of Witbank Ext 16
Residents are kindly requested not to utilize water from their geysers during the periods of no water, as this will cause problems when the water supply is restored.
