It is time to knuckle down and give your best. As the matric class of 2021 gets ready to take this important exam the Executive Mayor of Emalahleni, Cllr Linah Malatjie shares a few words of encouragement.

“I urge you to take your studies seriously. It is at this critical stage to perhaps draw inspiration from the wise words of our former President Nelson Mandela, who once said that education is the only important weapon by which you can use to change the world. Indeed it is through education that you can change your personal and family circumstances. It is through education that you can help fight and defeat poverty and underdevelopment in your own community,” Cllr Malatjie, who herself is a former teacher, said.
