‘Geduld-brug’ will be ready in two weeks

Road users will soon be travelling across the Swartbos-bridge with a smile.

Motorists will soon be driving across OR Tambo bridge (Geduld-brug) with a smile.

According to Ms Solange Soares, communication officer from TRAC the bridge is complete and all the traffic lights are working.

Two lanes northbound and two lanes southbound are available as it was before the upgrade started.

The additional lanes will be opened soon.

“The contractor is just finishing some snag list items and will be done with all the work by the end of October,” Soares said.
