Family fun night at Cairos Venue
Businesses placed their pop-up shops at the lodge on Friday, October 8.

Crowds came out in numbers to support local businesses at Cairos Venue Night Market.
Businesses placed their pop-up shops at the lodge on Friday, October 8.
Most shops were owned by people who make their own products.
Residents from eMalahleni came out in numbers to support these businesses; the pop-up shops sold a variety of essential goods such as bath salts, essential oils, house decorations and multi-purpose detergents.
Other shops sold mouth-watering food and drinks for the customers to enjoy.
The people that attended were very happy with the atmosphere of the market and that there was karaoke for them to showcase their talent. Andre Swanepoel said that he enjoys attending such markets as you get to eat nice food, connect with people in your community and buy from local businesses.
“I came with my daughter to show her the fun side of adulthood, even though she is still young. I’m happy that this environment caters for children too,” said Retha Dreyer.
Information on the next night market will be posted on their Facebook page.
