Vosman Police concerned about murder spree

Murders are a worrying factor for Vosman SAPS.

Vosman Police Station is pleading with the community to assist with information that can help solve murder cases that occurred between October 23 and 24, in different places around Vosman.

On Saturday morning police received a complaint at Marikana and on their arrival, they found community members gathered next to a certain yard where they found the body of Bafana Mokoena. The 32-year-old was lying on the ground facing upward with some bruises.

It was further reported that at Extension 5 near a local shopping centre, police were informed about another person who was murdered.

They then went to the scene and upon their arrival, they found an unknown person lying in a pool of blood. The victim had an open wound on the upper part of his body.

On Sunday, October 24 police received a call from hospital personnel informing them about a person who was admitted due to stab wounds to his upper body.

Unfortunately, the man succumbed to death due to his injuries. The deceased was identified by his family as Fannel Khoza from Empumelelweni.

No arrests have been made on these three horrible incidents and anyone with information that can assist police to arrest the perpetrators is requested to contact Detective Colonel One Thobejane on 082 372 2195.
