Casino lights attract robbers
An undisclosed amount of money was taken before the suspects fled the scene
The newest trend for armed robbers is to gamble and take chances to rob local casinos in eMalahleni.
On the morning of October 24, the second robbery took place by the same online casino as a month ago.
It is believed that two men entered the premises, but that the manager did not think anything suspicious as he believed it was customers.
It was when the two men allegedly took out firearms and pointed them towards the manager’s colleague when he realised that this was a robbery.
Allegedly the two suspected robbers dragged the colleague and manager to the office where it is believed that they demanded money.
An undisclosed amount of money was taken before the suspects fled the scene.
No arrests have been made as yet, but the case is being investigated.
