Water outages burst into anger and frustration
Another concern was that keeping surfaces clean is essential to fight against the pandemic

Residents in Duvha are at their wit’s end as water outages have affected them since Sunday, October 24.
Community members are annoyed by how some did not receive any information on the water outage.
Mazwi Dlamini, a concerned resident and father said that the outage really affects him and his family as they need water to drink, cook, bath and fulfil other household duties.
Another concern was that keeping surfaces clean is essential to fight against the pandemic.
Dlamini mentioned that the residents’ livelihood is being compromised and it seems as though their cries are not heard.
The municipal spokesperson, Mr Lebo Mofokeng said that the municipality always alerts community members whenever a water or power outage will occur.
“We urge residents to be on the alert, the municipality informs the public when an outage is due to happen. We notify people on various platforms such as radio stations, newspapers and social media,” added Mofokeng.
