Bontle a real beauty crowned as Little Miss Witbank 2021

Bontle Litheko, taking her modeling career to a next level.

Bontle Litheko is a seven-year-old Grade two learner at Laerskool Reynorif and fast becoming a little beauty queen.

She’s part of a family of six – her dad, mom, brother, sister and uncle. She does modelling and swimming during her spare time, but modelling is her favourite hobby.

“My ultimate role model is for sure Zozibini Tunzi who is Miss Universe 2020. I love her because she has taught me to love myself the way I am and to know that being dark-skinned doesn’t mean that you are less beautiful,” said the little beauty queen.

In 2019 she did her first pageant called ‘Miss Summer Splash’ and she took the crown.

She then aspired to enter a bigger pageant and when the entries for ‘Little Miss Witbank’ opened, she went for it.

“After being chosen as a finalist, she began creating a social media platform on Facebook with the help of her mom and used the platform to market herself and the ‘Miss and Mrs Witbank Pageant’. She posted about the pageant community initiatives she was involved in and her journey as a finalist,” said her proud coach, Wandile Litheko.

The crowning of ‘Miss and Mrs Witbank 2021’ was held on October 16 in Middelburg.

Bontle gave it all and was crowned ‘Little Miss Witbank 2021’.

She received an award for best Social Media Influencer in the Little Miss category.

“She was very excited and thrilled about these achievements. She would like to also use the Little Miss Witbank platform to inspire girls her age to believe in themselves and to know that they are beautiful just the way they are, that they can do anything they put their minds to,” Wandile added.

Bontle is not only blessed by wearing this title but grateful for everyone that made it possible.

“I feel so blessed to wear this title and really would like to thank my family, family friends and even my neighbours for supporting me, not only financially, but motivating me through this whole process. I would also like to thank the designer, Zintle Zallur for the amazing gown and Siya Mokoena for inviting me over for a radio interview on Emalahleni FM which took my modelling career to an even greater height,” Bontle concluded.
