Early festive fest at the local market

Members of eMalahleni were even happier that there was a place to sit and unwind before facing the week ahead

There’s no better way to enjoy your Sunday afternoon like being at a local market, and enjoying other people’s company.

These were the scenes at the market held at Plot 71 in Highveld Park on Sunday, November 28.

Residents from eMalahleni came out in numbers to support these businesses.

Linda Wallace fascinated by the buffaloes at the market.

The pop-up shops sold a variety of essential goods such as bath salts, essential oils, house decorations and multi purpose detergents.

Everything from hand-made goods was sold there.

Members of eMalahleni were even happier that there was a place to sit and unwind before facing the week ahead.

Three friends, Eisabel Matsitukwa, Tanya Siziba and Abigail Mandeya said that they loved the food that was sold there and the atmosphere around.

Abigail was also one of the business owners that sold unique clothing at affordable prices.
