Kaitlyn van Wyk proved her resilience and strength to many as she participated in the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Mpumalanga trials in Middelburg.

The Grade 9 learner from the Hoër Tegniese Skool has received her Mpumalanga colours and has qualified for the South African MMA Championships which will take place later in the year.
