There are plans to reconstruct the bridge in Blancheville

After six years, complaints and postponement Blancheville bridge will get some TLC.

On March 11, 2016, a catastrophe hit eMalahleni when the bridge on Second Avenue in Blancehville collapsed.

Six years down the line, there is some hope again in reconstructing the bridge.

The community of Ward 20 is invited to the project launch of the reconstruction of the bridge on Second Avenue.

“I would like to invite the community to attend a public meeting regarding the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the Blancheville Bridge,” said Cllr. Maureen Scheepers.

The meeting will take place on April 14 at 15:00.

The venue is as follows; 4 Gordon Road, (Mystical Mansion Guesthouse)

“This meeting is for all interested and affected parties of the project. For more information, feel free to contact me directly on 082 565 6770,” Scheepers concluded.
