Swimming sensation Timara brought home eight medals from Zambia

Timara held South Africa's name high at the CANA Zone IV Swimming Championships in Zambia.

 

A young talented swimmer from eMalahleni has been busy this month swimming in two big competitions.

Timara Froneman (14) swimming is not only her passion but has become her life. 

 

She started swimming when she was nine-years old.

 

Her current coach is Chad Peterson at the Virgin Gym in Middelburg.

 

On Monday, April 18 she arrived back home from Zambia where she represented South Africa in the CANA Zone IV Swimming Championships. 

 

“It is a huge achievement to qualify for Nationals and to represent South Africa in Zambia,” Tamara said. 

Timara competed in eight events, where she received outstanding results.
